The project began with meticulous research into existing restaurant applications, analyzing market trends and usability factors to inform our approach. This phase provided invaluable insights that guided the subsequent development stages. Following this, the focus shifted to branding the "Family of Eateries" and its three associated restaurants, aiming to establish a cohesive identity reflective of their unique offerings while resonating with users. Once branding was defined, the project moved on to sketching the application flow and creating wireframes to visualize the layout and structure. These wireframes served as a blueprint for the UI design phase, where careful consideration was given to aligning design elements with the established branding. Insights gleaned from earlier research on restaurant apps also influenced design decisions, ensuring that the final UI prioritized usability and engagement. With the UI design finalized and tested for usability in Adobe XD, development began, leveraging HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create functional web pages. Minimal animation effects were added using GSAP to enhance user experience without compromising performance. Through this iterative process, each step built upon the insights and progress of the preceding phases, resulting in a user-friendly, visually appealing, and functional restaurant application tailored to the "Family of Eateries."
